“My Dad has been the best example of how to be a man, how to run a business, and has molded me into the person I am today,” states Joshua West. That guidance helped direct Josh to a successful career with Globe Life American Income Division (AIL).
“After graduating from the University of Mount Union in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in education,” he recalls, “I took a short-term sales job before getting licensed with AIL in 2014. One of my best friends, Tucker Gregor, who is also with American Income, told me this would be one of the best decisions I would ever make, and I trusted him. He was right,” adds Josh.
“My greatest accomplishment so far with Globe Life American Income Division has been the opportunity to expand my business into Indianapolis and become an Business Owner,” continues Josh. “What’s been the most rewarding about joining AIL is the opportunity to mentor and develop people, not only on a business level, but also on a personal level, and to be able to support my family and become financially independent,” he says.

Giving back is important to Josh and his team. “Our Business looks forward to donating, giving back, and supporting the youth who will be the future of this great country we live in. I am also very involved with the Medina County Special Olympics in Medina, Ohio. I am originally from Ohio and have been a sponsor of its coed summer softball teams for the last three years,” he adds.

Keep your circle small and don’t forget where you came from. If I could start over with AIL, the only thing I would do differently is get better at recruiting earlier in my career. Recruiting is the key to success,” he states.
In his free time, Josh enjoys spending time with his fiancé, traveling, watching sports, and philanthropy.
