In 2014, Myaa Fallon joined American Income Life Insurance Company (AIL) with a wealth of personal and professional experience behind her. She spent four years in the U.S. Navy, and then attended the University of Illinois, where she majored in communications and business and received two Bachelors and a Master’s degree. “Being passionate about education, I was a Director of Education for three private high schools in the Dallas area,” recalls Myaa. “But my career in education ended, and I had a family emergency in Chicago around the same time. I needed a job to help support my family, put my resume online, and was contacted by AIL. When I understood the compensation structure, I was excited to accept the position. It came at a desperate time, but it absolutely was a blessing,” she adds.
Myaa pursued her goal of Agency ownership from the beginning. “I already had personal goals, but after the AIL career path was laid out, I quickly added Agency Owner to the list. I’ve had amazing mentors who helped me develop the qualities needed for success at American Income Life. That success gives me many avenues to impact the lives of others and help them create their own unlimited opportunities,” she emphasizes. “I’m uniquely qualified to be an Agency Owner because I’m absolutely relentless. To be a great Agency Owner, one needs good emotional management skills, focus, and a clear vision of the future. I have those attributes and work daily to be the best leader I can be,” she stresses.
AIL has been tremendously rewarding for Myaa. “Initially, it was my ability to care for my family financially far beyond what I expected. When the amazing income became the norm, the reward was seeing my personal growth. I’ve twice been a member of the President’s Club, attained Recruiting Legacy Club, and been a top producer for other AIL Agencies I’ve worked with,” she states. “Seeing first-hand how AIL products help people has been impactful. I’ve handled several death claims, and there are no words to adequately describe how our products benefit people. When a time of grief, sadness, and pain comes into a family’s life, security and financial stability are priceless,” she maintains.
What’s Myaa’s advice when you join the AIL family? “Go in the way I did … blind and open to all possibilities. And keep your blinders on,” she affirms. “This Agency has a far-reaching impact in several states with a massive population and a great need for unlimited career opportunities. My AIL team is the best! They are entrepreneurially minded, coachable, and hungry to make a difference in their own lives and the lives of others. We challenge each other and have a lot of fun because our AIL culture is amazing. My team has my back because they know I have theirs. The Washington, DC, area has a large homeless population. My Agency is dedicated to decreasing those numbers by creating jobs and opportunities, helping to build homes, and providing resources for those in need,” Myaa emphasizes.
Supporting the veteran population and the homeless are close to Myaa’s heart. “As a veteran myself, I care deeply about our veterans and about foster kids because of my childhood. I also have a huge passion for helping noncustodial parents maintain their parental rights,” she says.
Free time for Myaa is family time. “We do brunch weekly and have a game or movie night. I’m a big sports fan too. Being originally from Chicago, all things Chicago are in my DNA … Bulls, Bears, Cubs Blackhawk, White Sox. I also am a writer of books and poetry. I love acting, movies, music (especially Drake), and dancing,” she declares.
