Before joining American Income Life Insurance Company, Michael Vasu was an aspiring law student who graduated from the University of Dayton graduate school. In 2006, his best friend who loved working with AIL talked to Michael about joining temporarily before going to law school. Little did he know this temporary position would become his new career aspiration.
Michael is passionate about his career with AIL and dedicates a lot of time to work so he can help change others’ lives. “Our market is largely underserved, but the clients we serve desperately need our products,” says Michael. AIL’s focus is helping provide these families the financial protection they need during difficult times in their lives.
“This is a rewarding career and the longer you are with the Company, the greater the rewards are,” says Michael. “You must be dedicated and have a great work ethic to succeed in the business. American Income supports and provides training to help you reach your goals. Follow the system that is in place from the beginning. There is absolutely no reason to reinvent the wheel.”
Michael says, “It’s rare to find a career with so few barriers, for example, no degree requirement, that can give someone the opportunity to move up and make more money strictly based on their performance.”
Michael doesn’t stop helping people when he leaves work; he is involved with his church and financially supports many charities. He says, “I think we have a responsibility to give people, especially the disadvantaged, a shot at a real opportunity in life.”
