After high school graduation, Andre ‘Dre’ Hawthorne attended college where he majored in Business Marketing and played soccer. Before joining Globe Life American Income Division (AIL) in 2010, Dre was in the banking industry. But the growth and income potential AIL offered took him in a new direction.
“I wanted to become a Business Owner to take advantage of the amazing opportunity AIL offers and to be around great leaders and influencers,” states Dre. “What’s been most rewarding about joining AIL is my personal and professional growth. I credit that growth to those selfless leaders who took me under their wings and poured their knowledge into me,” he adds.
“I’ve always exhibited leadership qualities at my core and believe the fundamentals for success are not only taught but earned. At every level of the AIL career track, my sales and leadership skills have been developed to successfully execute an Business Owner position. Because AIL products can change the direction of families’ lives for generations to come, my ultimate satisfaction in life is knowing I served others and changed the course of their futures … both clients and Organization members,” he says.
“I became a Regional Sales Director for AIL at only 30 years of age and have received numerous awards … winner of The Battle of the Capes in 2011 and second place winner in 2013, top General Agent, top Master General Agent, and top Regional General Agent, as well as a bronze Public Relations Recruiter,” Dre states proudly.
“If you’re considering joining the Globe Life American Income Division family, don’t focus on the now; focus on the future. Challenge yourself and set clear, measureable goals, but be humble. If I could start over with AIL, I would not put things off because I was waiting for the right time or opportunity. Believe me, your right time and opportunity is now,” he emphasizes.
When not working, Dre enjoys doing things with his daughter. “In my personal life, I love to be spontaneous, do random things, or go to unplanned places. I escape in good music and dance, listening to podcasts, reading, watching action movies and football, and playing soccer. I’m also active in local community events with a cause such as ‘Walk for Hunger’ and ‘Relay for Life’, he says.
“Our Organization has a servant mindset. We provide no-cost supplemental coverage to families in need and access to a food bank for those down on their luck. We also offer you an opportunity to be influenced by great leaders as you improve your personal and professional skills. But most important of all, we provide you a reliable and exciting vehicle to make your dreams a reality,” Dre adds.
