Before joining Globe Life American Income Division (AIL) in 2014, Josh Krueger was a psychologist. He attended Indiana State University and later Calvin College (now Calvin University) in Michigan, where he received his PhD. in psychology in 2013.
What took him in a new career direction? “I was attracted to Globe Life American Income Division because the Company afforded me the freedom to make my own schedule, the ability to travel, and the opportunity to create outstanding relationships,” he recalls. “I’ve since held top positions as Supervising Agent (SA), General Agent (GA), and Master General Agent (MGA) for the entire Company … number 11 MGA in 2015, and number six MGA in 2016. But the professional and personal development through constant, yet necessary, challenges is what’s most rewarding about joining American Income,” he adds.
What makes Josh an outstanding Organization leader? “I have a good understanding of what people require to succeed in different situations and circumstances, as well as an empathetic, but firm and accountable approach to leadership development. I’m a big believer in empowering others to gain the necessary confidence to do things on their own. I want to provide more opportunity to those who didn’t know something this fulfilling and lucrative was out there … similar to how the AIL opportunity was shown and given to me,” he emphasizes.
What’s Josh’s advice to those joining the Globe Life American Income Division family? “Don’t be anxious. Stay open-minded and realize the beginning is always the most difficult. Learn to control your perceptions of people and situations. Always remember the importance of what you do. AIL products provide our clients with freedom from anxiety and a literal financial lifeline in the event of losing a loved one,” he stresses.
Josh feels strongly about the value his Organization brings to the area. “Baltimore is a city and region that’s experienced its fair share of inequality, lower incomes, and lack of opportunity. The career opportunity at American Income Life is fantastic, because it allows anyone and everyone to have a fair shot at success and a consistent income,” he asserts.
A college wrestler, Josh still enjoys sports and follows the Denver Broncos, Colorado Avalanche, and the Chicago Bulls. He spends free time writing a book, playing music (especially reggae), or enjoying outdoor activities like hiking and snowboarding. He’s also ‘dad’ to his three dogs, Gordon, Rudy, and Duke.
