Luis Velasquez attended Andrés Bello Catholic University in Caracas, Venezuela where he majored in insurance management/anti-money laundering. Before joining Globe Life American Income Division (AIL) in 2020, he worked as a director of anti-money laundering in the insurance superintendency, a director of customer service, and a director of conflict resolution and arbitration in insurance. “I wanted to become an Organization leader because it is a great opportunity to make an incredible career in the United States. From the first day I joined AIL, my goal was to own an organization, based on the unlimited opportunity that AIL offers,” Luis says.

I bring to the table the correct way to do this work for the Latin division.”
What is Luis’ greatest accomplishment with the Company? “My high retention rate as a Master General Agent. Also, being recognized in Spotlight more than eight times each year and winning the Academy 101 Agency Builder Contest, plus landing in second place in the 2021 URC Recruitment Contest,” he says.

Luis’ free time is spent with his family (wife and children) and exploring new restaurants. He also follows sports teams like the New York Yankees, Austin FC and Real Madrid CF. Luis helps causes in his home country of Venezuela. He says, “I currently send food and medicine to Venezuela, which has a very difficult economic situation. I would like the opportunity to finance surgeries and medical treatments for children who need it.”
