Mauro Capozucca graduated with a professional culinary degree from IGA Culinary Institute of the Americas in Rosario, Argentina, in 2017. But he quickly made a career transition to American Income Life Insurance Company (AIL) in 2018, when he realized the tremendous opportunity for growth that AIL offers.
“I wanted to become an Agency Leader because of my leadership and sales experience,” he says. “In addition to my culinary background, I also worked in the maintenance and construction industries before coming to American Income Life. I like what I do at AIL. It allows me to help Latinos advance in their careers and show them the exciting opportunity that exists with AIL. I’m also highly qualified for Agency leadership because I speak with sincerity and always speak the truth,” he emphasizes.
What does Mauro consider his greatest achievement with American Income Life? “It’s becoming a State General Agent (SGA) and bringing the AIL opportunity to others. It’s been tremendously rewarding to help other Latinos succeed,” he states.
How do AIL products empower the Latino community? “Our products help keep families going when they need it most,” says Mauro. “I teach my Agents to help others within the community by not selling a policy just to make the sale. I teach them to sell a policy to put that family in a more secure and anxiety-free mindset should tragedy strike. My Agency helps Latinos to get head and grow personally, professionally, and financially,” he stresses.
Mauro offers excellent advice to those joining the AIL family. “Encourage yourself by always being as positive as you can. Celebrate your successes and view your failures as teaching tools. Try to get out of your comfort zone, because that is the only way to promote growth in your career. If I could start over with American Income Life, I would concentrate more on client retention and recruit from the very start to offer this outstanding career opportunity to as many people as possible. As the married father of two wonderful children, Martina and Giovanni, I want to be able to help all Latinos who immigrate to this country to be successful,” affirms Mauro.
Mauro spends free time with his family. “I love soccer. My favorite team is River Plate in Argentina, and I enjoy being with my children and playing the game. I also enjoy Latin music, especially the Argentinian version of Cumbia,” he says.
