Eugene Garcia video coming soon
Before joining American Income Life Insurance Company (AIL) in 2015, Eugene was regional vice president for a financial services company. But he envisioned greater potential with AIL. “I saw the profitability of this industry,” he recalls. “AIL had a system already in place where you could succeed whether good at recruiting or good at sales. You just had to work hard, because the great equalizer, as in all things in life, is hard work. I tell anyone considering a career with American Income Life to go all in, trust the system and your mentors. And work harder for yourself than you ever did for any corporate job or boss. Your level of success is directly tied to the level of effort you put in. Give it everything you’ve got,” he emphasizes.
Eugene feels his move to Chicago is about more than a career. “It is really a crusade,” he states. “There are millions of families that need us, and we are not going to let them down. The worst time of anyone’s life and the hardest thing to recover from is the loss of a breadwinner. With so many families having limited financial knowledge and not understanding the importance of having proper protection, the programs AIL provide are COMPLETE and meet the exact needs the average, middle-class family has when facing the loss of a breadwinner,” he continues.
Eugene’s industry knowledge and strong work ethic have propelled him to great accomplishments with AIL. “It’s working side by side with my mentor, Dustin Venekamp, to create a culture of exponential growth,” he says. “It’s being appointed to the Board of Directors of Altig-Orlovic by leading the Company in growth, and it’s achieving $30K in net Annualized Life Premium on a 10-day road trip to show myself and my team what is possible in this business,” he adds.
Eugene is excited about the future. “I believe my Agency offers the chance for individuals to get paid what they are worth, probably for the first time in their lives,” he says. “With American Income Life there is no restriction on the number of hours a person can invest in building their income. You can earn whatever you can dream. AIL offers many different ways of getting paid. As long as you understand those ways, the sky is the limit,” he emphasizes.
“I came into this industry with a recruiting mindset,” he recalls. “And then I got distracted by the money I was making in sales. There was a period of time where I just stopped building. If I could start over with AIL, I would ramp up the recruiting and the building process and never waiver from it. Now I really live, eat, and breathe this Company. I put everything into it. Even in my free time, I like to hang out with my team,” he adds.
Like other AIL Agencies, Eugene’s Agency collects food for food banks in every home they visit. He and his team are excited for the new opportunity in this new territory to find ways to help the community.
Eugene’s AIL career has had a tremendous impact on his own life as well as on others. “The most rewarding aspect of joining the American Income Life family is the transformation I have gone through. It’s been a personal self-improvement movement under a great mentor,” he states. “I have become a completely different man. The success and the money are great, but the greatest reward is the change I have gone through personally,” he emphasizes.

Dustin Venekamp had just graduated college when he decided to join American Income Life Insurance Company (AIL). Looking for an opportunity to either run a business or make money to start his own business, Dustin found what he was looking for at American Income Life. “The entrepreneurial spirit of AIL combined with the successful business systems put in place meant I could focus my efforts on growth,” says Dustin.
And grow he did! Dustin found success helping working class families through American Income Life’s products. “AIL’s products make it so that when tragedy strikes, families don’t have to downsize their home, mom or dad can still pay for band and sports activities, and they can still put their children through college,” Dustin says. He’s proud to offer products that keep one tragic event from becoming a series of tragic financial events for a family.
Aside from helping provide financial protection for people in his community, Dustin is passionate about giving others the same career opportunity he was given. Dustin realizes, “Developing leaders and helping people realize their full potential is hands down the most rewarding part of this career.” Dustin’s Agency in Phoenix, AZ, offers entrepreneurial people in their community a chance to be in business for themselves but not by themselves while being compensated and promoted based on their performance.
Understanding there isn’t anything like a good life-work balance, Dustin makes sure he plays as hard as he works. He enjoys basketball, golf, running, and spending time with this family. Dustin and his team also spend time volunteering and donating to the local food bank and labor union, OPEIU Local 277.
To those interested in a career with his Agency, Dustin advises, “Work hard now, so you don’t have to later. Invest time by becoming a master at recruiting and selling and then become a master at teaching others to recruit and sell. Think big and build big.”
